you think i care about b rate villain history?
what he did is enough to warrant death, no matter how bad his history is, he's the one who make wrongdoing now
that is JUSTICE, that's how an MC should be (which is pretty rare coming from manga)
The chapter pretty much skimmed over the details, the ring increases his speed so high it looks like time stop but Lufasu was still faster than the ring without activating any skills
Pommel strike is just a skill that leaves the target at 1hp all the time, useful for taming

Imo that was satisfying as fuck. Seeing him try to start some pitiful backstory bs and Lufasu just stomping all over it and beating him and doing so many horrific things to him while not actually dying is great. His entire family now ruined. Good.
oof the [COOK] treatment. I liked the way the books handled it though as well
this was a plenty welcome change all the same
if you step back for a second, there's an interesting parallel to be drawn here. Ruphas actually had an even worse childhood, and likewise eventually came into a huge amount of power. however. she never took it out on the world, rather she went to change things(and did) and the rest is spoilers
as opposed to this waste of oxygen who decided to use the power he came into, to cause even more suffering in the world.
she has all the rights in the world to trample over his sob story
she also is a solid believer in the concept of noblesse oblige I believe, so, on top of hurting her companions, she really really hates his attitude towards being a noble
in the novels, the ring had a rather nasty unlisted backlash, where once the user stopped using it, all of the time they spent in a speed-boosted state, multiplies by some factor, and then gets applied to the user as exponentially increasing direct aging effects. our little "friend" here has used the ring a LOT. the next chapter will be incredibly painful, and fatal to him thanks to his own arrogance
Personally, the flashback having more than one page and being hella annoying and skippable is a good writing decision, as it links the readers minds to the MC's and makes her interruption far more cathartic.
