Usually the trope of MC 'saving' the girl is quite dumb, and just a convenient/lazy way of making the pretty girl fall in love with an average self insert guy, but this dude went so far above and beyond with his Sherlock Holmes Light Yagami moment that I can totally see why she's interested in him lol.
