That was an awesome chapter, I loved the panel where the vampire lady got into the face of Miss Detective and she apoligized and that was that. This cahpter gives the feels of the ending soon. I hope not because I love this manga. Thanks for the translation

Super melancholic chapter, but has anyone realized how insanely attractive Anko looked?

I think this might be the first time I've seen Vietnam mentioned (and integrated into the story even) in any manga/anime in like many years. It does get me curious why there seems to be such a surprising lack of any references to Vietnam in manga/anime compared to references to other countries (not counting the ones that would obviously draw the most attention like USA/China/etc.).

And with that, most of the side characters have been addressed one last time. the school characters last chapter, the vampire+ cast this chapter. My only gripe is a lot of these characters fell to the wayside when filler chapters could have easily sufficed to develop them.

Check out Little Lotus. It's a quite recent series.

Interesting fact: in the Japanese for this chapter, Nazuna's first words are 「今日も... いい朝だなーー。」, and this does mean "Today, too, is a good morning." (so, "Today is another beautiful day.", I think, is okay). However, 朝 ("asa"-- that is, "morning") has the furigana てんき ("tenki") over it, and てんき would typically be understood as 天気 (that is, "weather"). If the furigana was used, it would read to the effect of "Today's weather is also nice"-- thus resembling the common small talk phrase 「いい天気ですね」, or "the weather's nice".

In chapter 3, Kou greets the night with a remarkably similar phrase, saying 「今日もいい夜だ。」. This by itself literally means "Today, too, is a good evening.", but here, 夜 ("yoru", that is, "evening") bears the furigana てんき. Tonikaku Scans used that furigana for their translation, unlike the translator /a/non, though, so their translation is "Good weather again, today."

Outside that, Nazuna's greeting of the morning (along with her face) comes off as more... perhaps, labored, than Kou's aforementioned greeting of the night. She's at least lacking in vitality.

Just a parallel that I happened upon in discussion elsewhere about what's going on with Nazuna.

I literally can feel what Kou felt there when Anko said goodbye. It just went soo quick and she left me hollow now...

Very melancholic and gutting chapter, the sense of departure and the insecurity of reunion makes me so depressed
