hang on...what actually happens if a vampire in this series goes out in daylight? I mean, as far as I can remember, the only example we have is the guy who was kinda half turned but he never embraced the change, he never fed, just starved himself for like a decade then got ashed, and it was implied it might have had more to do with whatever that lady handed to him than the sunlight, so it's possible normal vampires who are well fed and strong might not be harmed by it at all, or at least not be instantly disintegrated?

I'm getting really tired of these "what is love" pseudo-intellectual pseudo-meta chapters where the author is just dragging it on either for its own purpose, because they themselves have no notion of it, or because they wanna have a slow burn romance despite having two characters that don't seem the type.

This guy isn't realistic, spending time with a girl that long and everything, either he loves her by now or he won't ever. Sick of this. Especially at his age he's pumped full of hormones. Maybe the authors afraid the manga will end once he turns (which is only true if they lack inventiveness, which seems to be common among manga stories... The authors just end it at the point of love seemingly because of an inability to imagine an interesting plot that involves simultaneous romantic life and something else)

@ArtzarB Oh she'll definitely try to leave soon, because the author clearly can't bring themself to let the vampiric change happen (haven't seen any character actually get turned yet. None!) so they'll take any path to delay that as long as possible.
