@Eliminateur Nah man, I also caught that. I saw the design and name, and I legit went "Holy Shit!" Now that's an awesome reference. Massively underrated romance manga that deserves a modern anime adaptation.

but i don't think maison ikkoku will get another adaptation, after all by now it's a 20+ yr old and "obscure" completed manga, one which was already fully adapted back in the day.
Plus nowadays it's all trash 13 ep animes(maybe with luck a 2nd season...), and MI is from the gold era of romances where you need at least a full year 52-ep nonstop anime, so to watch maison ikkoku be butchered by a shit 13-ep adaptation?, no thank you
