This was such a good manga until about ch13 in which I lost a considerable about of interest, but yet I cant drop it because I wanna see where this goes...
Is it another nightmare like ch12? Or is this really the fucked turn it's going to take and ruin what was starting out to be a really great manga?

You got half of it. MC has two 'personalities' inside of him now, his own personality that is just what he was until now and the second personality being his desires plus some outside tampering. As stated by his father, while that does represents his desires, it isn't entirely him and someone has fabricated a second personality probably to use his body and start a war. So while he didn't switch bodies, the one that is controlling his body now is just half the MC, half outside tampering by someone that hasn't been revealed yet.
