It comes up probably once per arc. This is the beginning of the new arc and the just slipped it in casually in the last one with the turtle having an affect on the rest of the party at the time (so no Kuro).

There is a HUGE difference between homegrown tomatoes and tomatoes farmed and shipped even across small distances because of how sensitive they are to bruising and how poorly they retain their taste and ripen after picking. With commercial tomatoes, you kinda have to pick between structural integrity and taste
