@WernerS Bruh, they were (and still are) kids. Yeah, she should've reached out to try and apologize but expecting that from a kid who feels extremely guilty about what she did is a bit much. She doesn't deserve full forgiveness, but she also in a way got retribution because everyone else treated her the way she bullied him except this time it wasn't just a day or two (he stopped going to school) it was probably months or longer until the next school year. Just like she didn't have the emotional maturity to apologize, he wasn't able to confront her about it when it was pretty clearly her fault. He's obviously not at fault for what happened, but laying blame on her after this much time isn't right either.
@Retian pretty much, though I assume most of them are kids who don't have any sort of perspective. They're used to looking at things one-dimensionally like most series do. In a ton of series the main character gets revenge on the slightest insult and there's no forgiveness or making up and letting bygones be bygones. That sort of stuff doesn't work in the real world and shouldn't be strived for, though it's generally satisfying in fiction.

I don't remember about her not going to school so I can't tell for the retribution she got.
According to the recent chapters, it's not that she doesn't have the emotional maturity to apologize but that she want him to become stronger to protect her, she did it deliberately.
I'm not saying he is right to do that, it's just that you reap what you sow, and I can't bring myself to feel sorry about her situation.

I kinda wonder 2 things.
The transfer girl befriended the bitch, cause she fell its weird how the girl got "bullied". I could even understand it cause the class betrayed the dude more than the bitch - so like she maybe saw them as "worse" ones and befriended the bitch. She probably learned about MC from bitch herself - as hinted by the chapter. So I kinda wonder why didn't she like thanked him for helping/saving her from the fate he got? Or something.
The other thing - WTF that bitch done/was able to do to make whole class to listen to her and betray the MC? Like they were going to ignore the transfer girl just cause she asked, were so happy to not do it when MC kinda stopped the whole thing, and they instantly changed their minds and fucked over their "saviour"? Either they have no balls/brains and listen to who ever is the loudest in the class or she was some kinda rich princess who could fuck their life up if they didn't listen? But then she did nothing to them when they started ignoring her so like, this whole thing seems forced and kinda unrealistic a bit?
EDIT after reading the next chapter: Ok transfer student thanking happened, so at least that got explained. Also the "bitch" will probably end up joining the harem or at least the battle for his heart, cause its pretty visible she had and probably still has a thing for him. Just an emotionally unstable extreme tsundere of sorts?
