Or you could go the Alice route. "Would you...DIE FOR ME?!"thanks for the chapter
so a bit sad that he didnt say something like " would you perish? " or so , thats at least a question
holy crap this post actually got some likes. I mean still a small amount but more then I have even gotten this fastthe magic of censorship. and likely actual magic
I completely agree about the soul break being the right punishment for them, and I'm honestly surprised that they even were left alive for how long they were, I don't know if I'd have had the restraint that Van had.Nah Van’s charm skill would make it impossible for any undead to do such a thing. More than likely they didn’t think much about what they did to him and want to be useful to him now. Unfortunately for them they either were part of the capture team (Riley) or part of the one who killed (Gordon) the one mother he ever knew, loved and was shown affection from. Let’s just say that the only reason why Van was able to chill out compared to how he was in the afterlife is cause of Mama Darcia and a certain someone. And that mother is the one they had killed. Honestly a soul break is the right punishment for them
When dead, close to dead, or even dead inside (like the victims of orc rape) Van's Death Charm kicks in, making them love him and want to follow him. It even worked on his mother's ghost, when she tried to get him to move on after her death but the words got caught in her throat.I completely agree about the soul break being the right punishment for them, and I'm honestly surprised that they even were left alive for how long they were, I don't know if I'd have had the restraint that Van had.
As for his charm ability, I honestly don't remember anything about his charm ability, so I'd appreciate a brief summary of what it is and how it works, or a point in the right direction of what chapter to read about it.
My theory was formed from the fact that the two of them had still not gone coocoo like the majority of the souls, which means that their willpower - or whatever - was strong enough to keep them sane for that long. So, I figured if they are sane to that degree, then they were probably also sane enough to plot some kind of revenge against Van.
What furthered my thinking was that the souls were obviously capable of hating each other, so I just figured "why can't they then hate Van?"
Nah it's because of one of her abilities, if she used normal clothes they would get shredded every time she used that ability so she went for the least effort routeFrom what I remember, it's implied that she was a very muscle-brained tom boy or only filled out relatively "recently" so she's overcompensating with the outfit, that's the only way she can imagine of being seductive.
She only needs bare shoulders for that, a halter top would have been enough, she dresses extra slutty for other reasons.Nah it's because of one of her abilities, if she used normal clothes they would get shredded every time she used that ability so she went for the least effort route
Have you read the novel? Because it's clearly expressed that said ability needs as much surface area as possible to be used effectively in a defensive wayShe only needs bare shoulders for that, a halter top would have been enough, she dresses extra slutty for other reasons.
