This small-bit villain and (more importantly) his skill were every bit as weak as I predicted.

This ability is interesting, but full of weaknesses once you know the basic. Can only work on one "target" at a time, needs conscious activation, a high mana cost and, worst of all, targets must be announced aloud. (There was even a cute little mention of dangerous side-effects but Gungnir-boy was at least cautious enough to avoid this pitfall.) Add to this the boy is so trash he gave his skill away to his death mage target in advance through killing multiple people and getting their resentment.
Cherry on top was taunting said target with a reminder that, as a reincarnator, "I'll be back" just so Vandalieu wouldn't forget to shatter his soul.

I'm glad this was neatly wrapped-up in a single chapter.
