Let the slaughter begin.
The higher ups know more than the normal soldier, who thought they were just going there to get their spear back and maybe some extra treasures.i get emotions get high but these are some awful soldiers and commanders, they just ignore orders and can't control their subordinates, how they expect to win any battle like this is beyond me.
that priest monk dude got angry and ordered the knights to attack also makes it seem it's some religous thingSo I'm to believe an elite force falls to that basic provocation also clearly if a Dhampir breaks a legendary weapon like a twig surely that makes them insanely powerful.
The invasion army think they fighting a normal monster and the Dhampir is just a dumb savage brat, so they think its enough to just brute force it. The monk is the only one who know how elusive the Dhampir can be, but he actually among the first that started to lose it lol. Break the fake Ice Edge is really a good strategy 🤣That invasion army is such a train wreck. Every single unit within it seems to have its own agenda, and half of the troops won't listen to any orders.
Thanks for the chapter!
I'm really curious for what's going to happen after this battle
(Any spoilers are welcome)
Which is the weirdest part about the temple knights breaking down into a frothing mass... Every historical religious warrior order has one single thing in common: Discipline.Peasant soldiers don't ride horses and wear plate armor. Those appear to be the church knights, they probably don't care much about what the military general says after their high priest gave them the approval to get their crusade on.
oh thanks, as the comment section from MSushi is not disquis nor this forum i wasn´t able to askJust FYI, Mangasushi never dropped it.
The TL just got bogged down with IRL stuff for a little while and is playing catch up right now.
It's not some random magical spear. It is an angel or even fragment of a god that has taken the form of a spear to aid a mortal hero in battle.that priest monk dude got angry and ordered the knights to attack also makes it seem it's some religous thing
yep so it makes sense that they got angry due to a religous thing also do the people know that the spear has it's own conscience, it's own brain like it's a living thing? It's not some random magical spear. It is an angel or even fragment of a god that has taken the form of a spear to aid a mortal hero in battle.
I think it was even swearing revenge on the MC a few chapters ago, but the MC has given it final death. Which is terrifying to gods and spirits who are used to being immortal.
