2 - Kanata is the first enemy to be defeated, and tries to tell Van that all the others will come to kill him, but Van properly ignores his bluff, and even if that were to be true, he destroyed Kanata's soul as a message. He did also sent a message that he prefers not to deal with them, so if they ever arrive, they can just stay away and he won't bother with them.
3 - Seeing what happened to Kanata, 3 new reincarnators wanted nothing to do with it, and opted to reincarnated as normal children hoping to never meet with Van. Rod did just that, although he sent them to families that would likely clash against an at the time. Ironically, 2 of these ended up JOINING Van's faction.
4 - Then 2 more were killed, and during the discussion, they refused to follow Rod, they would reincarnate as adults and try to search Van to ask for forgiveness. Rod knew that would be counter productive for him, so he offered another proposal: Become his familiar spirits and help him with work (Van was causing a lot of damage to Rod's system without even knowing about it.), this way they could also warn and prepare the reincarnators to come and would have their own privileges, although they wouldn't be able to go to Ramda.
5 - In the following arc, Van is searching for Milk to make Cream, and goes south towards the swamps, a 1 chapter "war" happens, they defeat the enemy dragon blessed by a demi-god, scaring that demi-god away, and then meet this evil god who had been sealed by the bad demi-god. Van's group (including Dalshia's soul) go down the dungeon to meet him, and the moment he is unsealed and happy to be free, his "awakening" causes Dalshia's soul to "flicker" due to his presence, at that point, Van was ready to kill him until the god apologized and asked for his forgiveness. It has been so long since he had been free that he was just happy to return, and had no intention of doing anything bad.
This event reminded Van of his past, because he too had been unable to use his body for years, and when he was finally free (when he became an undead and was able to move his body again), he too ended up in a revenge spree, which led to the Bravers killing him. He realized then and there that he had done the same thing that was done against him. Dalshia also told Van that she was fine in the end, and there was no need to go further into it. This Evil God becomes one of Van's main friends, and a source of information about events of the past.
6 - During the 1st Origin Arc, a bunch of Bravers are killed in a mass-suicide revenge plan by "8th Guidance", a "terrorist" group lead by those saved by the Undead, who wanted to kill the Bravers. They also worked with some traitors from Bravers, and this actually got them to realize the Reincarnators biggest weakness: All plans against them failed, however, the moment that the traitors joined them, the plans started to work. That is, although they don't understand the details, they found out the fortune nullification.
These members of 8th Guidance (who also include one reincarnator), after dying, have their souls "rescued" by Gods of Origin (they should have gone to Rod), as requested by Zurwan, Ramda's God of Space who had awaken some time ago, but couldn't join Vida's side because of the barrier. Rod tries to get those souls back, but the God of Space and the God of Time were able to send them to Van, using the "Lump of Flesh-chan" that Van had created in his experiments trying to fix the resurrection device and trying to recreate his mother's body.
Eventually they are able to move that body and become a new ally: Legion, they also update Van on the events of Origin and that a number of the Bravers were killed. They also found out that was actually an unnecessary thing since Van did not want to deal with them, but what's done is done. Still Van has a new ally, and learned that the Bravers were not as united as it appeared, and the big bad was none other than the vice-leader. (Of course, after dying, everyone came to know who was the mastermind, but it's not like they could go back and warn everyone.)
7 - Rod and the reincarnators (before being revived in Ramda) were able to try to kill Van from Rod's own place, at that moment, Van was able to see Rod and the souls of many of the reincarnators that had been killed, most of them scared and trying to show by their gestures that they had nothing to do with it (which was true, the attack was started by only one of them trying to get a reward like Kanata). Van was able to kill him and the attack was stopped, with the group realizing what they would have to deal with if they followed what Rod wanted.
The results from this group are: 1 is reincarnated and flees from the continent, 2 want to stop Van, but in a pacific manner, as in, convincing that he is doing wrong and stuff (because Death Attribute is evil logic), another one also wants to stay away from everyone, in fact, he wanted to kill himself and forget everything because he was traumatized.
Then there were the 7 traitors who accepted the proposal. But among these traitors, there were also a group, led by Kanako (You can see her in the first chapter), who was able to outsmart Rod, and convince two others to flee and try to join Van, because Van's Empire is the most technologically advanced. Another one of this group also fled, leaving only 3 to try to kill Van.
8 - Kanako's group was able to meet with Van and successfully join him, helping him with experiments, and updating him on the information, such as the 2 familiar spirits who were trying to convince everyone not to deal with Van, the group who wanted nothing against him and so on, they also apologized and all for what they did.
The group started to work in developing technology, and the 2 girls kinda become his sisters during Dalshia's revival as a new race, as the two were converted into it. Kanako did try calling Van onii-chan, but he felt weirded by it though.
9 - The God of Space Zurwan also invited Van to a small journey. By carrying only his soul, they went to Origin, where Van received their blessings, the reason is because they all hate Rod, and the evil guy there is planning to possibly destroy the world, so they would be blessing the reincarnators who tried to stop him, and if they died and went to Ramda, if Van were to kill them, he could get the blessing back to the gods. They also visited Earth where Van got blessings from the gods there (which allowed him to access new mythical jobs and access to a bunch of new recipes), he also got an update about his former family, although 30 years had passed already.
During their passage to Origin, Van meets many the dreams of many people who are attracted to him, one in special is a small baby, to which Van creates a new special clone and gives to her (Mei would later call him "Banda", and that would become his name), he then finds out that the girl is none other than the Amemiya's daughter that Legion had told him about. Banda cannot go beyond 50m from Mei (he is basically tied to her), so he acts as a guardian, and becomes this invisible lurker in the Amemiya's house. Also, Van knew about the traitor, so he had information that nobody in Origin knew about.
So Banda could see a lot of problems with the household, and he also was found out by 4 of the bravers with "mental sickness", helping cure them, so they became allies, and Van revealed some information to them, like that of the vice-leader being a traitor. So Van befriends a few other reincarnators and they protect Mei and do the job that he can't do.
10 - Kanako's group and Legion are supportive of Van and do help in the fights against the reincarnators, in fact, Kanako become one of Rod's worst nightmares as she also awakens as a guider and starts guiding a bunch of people. Basically, Van's guidance is strong but affects a limited amount of people, Kanako's guidance is very open, and makes it easier for Van to guide them).
11 - However, even after all this, the Amemiya's were the one couple that he never recognized as individuals. He could talk with everyone by their names, but these two were just "Meh-kun's Papa" and "Meh-kun's Mama". That's his "revenge", it's a small thing, but it shows that he did not forgot his grudge against those two. In fact, when he had to power them up to fight the enemies, for his friends he gave Super refined Transformation Devices with super high performance.
The random ones + Narumi got "mass-produced" ones that made them look like silver-colored rangers of sorts. Amemiya got a fiery version of that, with flaming motiff, a cape with his name signed, all as a form of harassment (The specs were no different)... It didn't seem to have worked on him though, as he was ok using it, and his son Hiroshi also liked it, but Narumi was initially a bit embarrassed.
So you can see that he still holds a grudge. But at the same time, they ARE Mei and Hiroshi's parents, and just like he loves his mother, he wouldn't mistreat the parents of those dear to him, even if he wants distance
