Yoshka's adorable.
Not really sure why anyone would dislike her, especially in context with the rest of the seemingly insane and corrupt world she occupies.

Hipsters gotta try to be hip I suppose.

I kind of love this TBH. I really wish we get to see what the MC will look like as a teen.

Strange to see a manga inspired by an 80's Cannes Grand Prix film.

All of Yoshka's drawings are cartoony, even when next to normally drawn characters. It mars the more paced and serious moments they're trying to make.

@DjAlexDubCheck from wikipedia:
Light Years Away (French: Les Années lumière) is a 1981 film directed by Alain Tanner. It tells the story of a young man who meets an old man who says he was taught by birds how to fly and is building a flying machine.
The old man's name is Yoshka and I'm sure you can see the similarity.

@Gimmy That's great to know.
I actually saw that movie many years ago but didn't remember old man's name,
so I would never have made the connection.
It's quite true that Japanese are big film enthusiasts, they never fail to impress me about it

As much as I want to like this one, it just feels too immature and the progression of the story feels really unnatural.

One second she's apparently killed a bunch of ppl, and the next she's the hero of a single village which somehow allows her to command the respect of the military of an entire country, who are (seemingly) willing to do just about anything for her because of that. And the people who are chasing her because they believe her to be a dangerous terrorist (she is) are suddenly super tolerant of her and and decide to help her even though they've seen that she's an irresponsible asshole who has no qualms about causing damage and sometimes injury to others.

It just doesn't make sense. The plot shows promise but it just isn't enjoyable when it does all this other shit.

This is really cute and enjoyable, I hope it catches wind so the author can get something out of it
