This series continues to be amazing.
In that he used the girls as bait to kill the guy, probably. So is the title suggesting that the Junior is a “twin” to this guy? In that he also shares his passion for Nighthawk?
Its possible his goal is the reverse. Kill the legend not by violence but encouraging its decline. His boss and enemies trying to still profit from her are in his way.The title of "Twin Snakes" or "A Snake Knows The Way of a Snake" (official title from Comic Days) is giving me the vibe that maybe Junior himself has some sort of ulterior motive or isn't as what he seems? That last panel is definitely giving me eerie vibes.
Personally I don't want Junior to betray Yotaka but it was just something that was worth pointing out.
I suppose he is close enough to Yotaka to want her to be able to live a pretty carefree life, and seeing as how at one point the idea of dating was in the cards I think he still cares about her enough since then to want her not to keep getting involved. Its possible his goal is the reverse. Honestly a really good point, I think with their shared history he's come to know who Yotaka is as a person and when you really look at it she doesn't seem the type to be an assassin, sure she's good at it but from the looks of it the job isn't something she wants for herself or even enjoys.I forgot which chapter, the one when she's back at his place wearing his robe after shitting herself. He had a small flashback where he finds her lying on the ground bleeding. In that one snake flashback. He was there with the young Yotaka on an assassin job. Telling her lets go home, I brought Ice cream. I'm with the poster above, I think he just wants his OG happy. If he could, he probably would just take her out of this life, but that shit is probably impossible because of who she is and who he works for.
