while i'm not saying it's correct because I also find it distrubing with how it's like a double standard but this is kinda stemming from the basic idea of the mothers and fathers. A single mother with a child is treated very differently from a single father with a child either gender which is kinda why people usually think that a woman doing this is ok while a man with a younger girl is looked down upon. this can then be connected to just older mothers with younger boys in general and older men with younger girls in general outside of the family as well.

NGL. A 24 (some said in other chapters a 20) years old woman, going to bath with a 10+ years old boy - fully naked. Weird - a call to police cause of SA level of weird to a degree. I mean I don't know anyone in my family or friends who bathed with their naked parents at that age. Heck even if parent had like a swimsuit or something it would be kinda weird. And he and her aren't related - just close neighbours.
