And it seems like you're the one taking things too seriously as black and white also biased as well towards Psyche, it's clear as day that Medea is not a noble or good person, but she has strong heart and could fight, inside. Meanwhile Psyche.... as sad as she is also not a pure victim as well, because...
Im hoping Psyche at least realize that the prince is not a good person, that common sense alone is enough.

In future chapter, in Medea's past she made a choice, she's abandoning her friendship with Medea & Helios to be with the asshole prince, if she has brain and guilt for Medea, because there's no way she'll get chosen if not for the prince, she should just at least explain what's happening so that Medea won't feel backstabbed (her aunt, the only one who loved Medea died because of that) but she's an idiot. She is easy to manipulate to the point of lacking brain is annoying, her naivety brings disaster for the others, she doesn't even realize the lucky state she's in right now, crying and act like stupid girl in love but not realizing Medea & Helios cares for her.

@miruse naw you're not the only one. I can imagine she seems dumb and naive because she's been manipulated by those around her to jink that way.
Like how when the prince decided to lock her up in the basement, her nanny said something along the lines of "Why did you disappoint the prince?"
Makes it seem like if it was normal psyche, she would've felt ashamed with herself for just as the many said, disappointing and going against the prince.
We know already that psyche gets along with everyone in her house, so I don't think it would be too far out of possibility that whenever psyche would do something bad or wrong, a similar punishment would be made, where she'll be physically shut off from society(even more then before) and would receive words of disappoint and sadness from her peers, leaving her to believe that what she did was wrong and that she shouldn't do it if it's going to hurt those she cares about.

I kind of understand Psyche though, I mean even Maeda believed that the prince was in love with Psyche until she started to dig a little further. While Maeda basically grew in the "wild" learning to survive for herself, Psyche on the other hand has basically been sheltered from everything and has an artificial and sheltered view of life.
What I find interesting is because of the body swap, we get to see the softer parts of Maeda, like when she smiled so widely when she saw Heli (mentioning that she misses him, even commenting on him getting thinner). Also, how she constantly mentions that the Prince is supposed to be act more in-love, and her acknowledging the Prince's sweet talking ability. Maeda even comments about feeling trapped being in Psyche's position, and she is Maeda! Psyche on the other hand, is shown to be a bit curious of what it feels like to manipulate people, somewhat even enjoying it and calling it "easy."
I think it's only a matter of time when both sides break, Maeda might drop the "tough, I can do it all" persona a bit, while Psyche will grow to be more like "screw this all," probably even becoming the power figure for the church.

I wanna know what Heli and Medea are doing, cause there's only (3) reasons why he may have done this
1.he loves her very much (bullsh*it)
2. He never loved psyche and was against her this whole time. That's why he didn't realize her abrupt change in behavior even by the slightest bit. Remember, the imperial palace and the holy church are mild enemies in sort way. Since psyche is always heavily guarded, she didn't focus on knowledge or defense which made her weak and vulnerable, which also made it an easy target for the prince. Because, if the prince married her, all of her safety at some point would be held in the prince's hands and can easily assassinate her. There is a high chance that he has more reasons than that though.
3. All the other theories cause I'm too fucking tired to think of any more.

So Psyche has ties to the church. The church and royalty have beef. However, I’m not clear on what the prince would be getting out of killing Psyche. Psyche doesn’t seem to have been groomed by the church to seek power for them. Or she may have not be groomed because it would be easier in manipulating her to push their agenda. She’s so oblivious that the prince could easily shelter her from the churches influence. I’m super confused. Then again he just may want kill her to give the church a big F you. 😩 I can’t wait for the following chapters.

She's just a pawn for him. He can just act all sad over her death and refuse to marry any other person and no one would question him. Because he 'loves' her
