Long videos about video games:

3. Turkey Tom

He goes over the history of internet people and sometimes criminals. One thing to note, something about his inflections in his older videos is weird, but you get used to it and don't notice it anymore after a bit of watching:

4. Roanoke Gaming

He gives an overview of the story in a movie, then talks about the science behind it:

5. Antdude

A cozy kind of channel. His romhack and bad eshop game videos are pretty good:

RndStranger - Makes short videos documenting (mostly) Japanese retro video games. He's already done every Famicom and Famicom Disc system game and is currently working on PC Engine.

Jeremy Parish | Video Works - more long-form video games about english language retro games.

Basement Brothers - 2 different series of note: Neo Geo Generation covers Neo Geo releases, while PC-88/98 Paradise covers Japanese PC games

Defunctland - documentaries about theme parks and some classic tv shows.

Tasting History - historical recipes combined with interesting history facts.

Tod's Workshop - medieval weapons testing.

After Dark: Myths, Misdeeds and the Paranormal - technically a podcast, though in recent years there is a video component. Covers strange, spooky, and scary (i.e. True Crime) stories from history.

Storied - several different series, but Otherwords covers English-language linguistics while Monstrum covers monsters and cryptids.

Jasondoeswhatever if you wanna watch various gacha game cutscenes without going through the hell of having to play them.

Switch Angel a DJ that uses Strudel to make some really cool techno music, her narrating also is done in a way where it becomes part of the audio.

abel cirilo The guy behind OsakaOS, his videos are an utter vibe and his project is really cool

KYDB he makes documentaries on otaku-related media, and it's really nice that he is himself a fan of it and honestly engages with the stuff

Dr. Semiconductor guy makes RAM at home in a backshed. He has made a proof of concept with photoligraphy, but plans to go way further.

I watch Spawnwave sometimes. He's okay. Channel makes a good news source, if you want the none political type stuff.

I am subscribed to a lot of different channels in YO!tube so I'm choosing five of them and make them varied, asorted.

• SsethTzeentach. I am honestly surprised no one mentioned him yet, the best game reviewer I've ever watched. It doesn't matter what's he doing, his videos are a work of art and I can't stop laughing. My favourite review is probably this one:
• Akiba Winds Project. This is a young Japanese big band who was really active years ago, quite popular due playing or slightly versioning anime themes and showing their love for the shows in the videos uploaded to the site. Of course, they also held live concerts, but that's for another time.
• Seth Skorkowsky. This gentleman (middle-aged fellow) has been GMing and playing TTRPGs for decades, nowadays he keeps doing so and also giving tips and talking about this wonderful hobby and different adventures/systems. One example could be this video:
• The History Squad. Something that always works out is a grandpa telling tales to young folk in an approchable way, and this one is good at it. British but not only about Britain, this is a laid-back channel to rediscover things that you may know but told by this smiling man.
• Studio Container. This is of course a very selected channel for people who understand Japanese, have you ever heard about "The Japanese Tradition" videos? They are the ones who made them, as they are an active performers group that have been on stage for many years. Of course, they love comedy. I watch Spawnwave sometimes. He's okay. Channel makes a good news source, if you want the none political type stuff.

It's more that people don't wanna step on the "no politics on forums" rule.

For me it depends on the video, in general the more concise he is the better but for instance when reviewing game systems I generally skip them because either I already know them or I prefer reading them.
