"shipping" has always been part of fandom for years lol. let the people dream.
it's not "blatant" but in the end everyone restrospectively agrees that it's simply a slowburn, and hence it doesn't fit into the romance category quite neatly.

anyways yeah for me "shipping" is just for fun. live and let live. screw the canon really. I respect it but at the same time why must things be so rigid? this whole field is all for entertainment purposes. if for some people believing that A likes B makes things more fun and they just like it spiced that way, why even bother thinking about it?
