"meeting up more often" means they're meeting outside of heiraku. in other words, plain, old dating! also, chihiro developing a genuine interest in baseball is the perfect extra touch that i didn't even know i needed.
I also love the author's simple hope for the characters to pop in our heads sometimes. it's so quintessentially slice of life.
Worry not author, this is one my favorite manga, and Yugami is one of the most solid main chara evarr. Truly, I enjoy the whole trip T___T Damn the hole this left in my heart T___T
I love how it ends. They prolly gonna get together eventually, seeing how he only ever takes time for Chihiro.
That last bit tho, does that mean Yugami actually planned those accidental meetings? Loll. I'd say he became conscious that time when other people thought they were couples during that first rakugo date.
I guess Watanabe was right in seeing that Yugami was in love with Chihiro or smth, at the very least the guy has superb social skills lol
Yugami and Chihiro will basically date for years without ever formally saying they're a couple and then he'll just spontaneously say they should marry for logical reasons 😂
@shutup funny😃, it might just happen, and i can even picture chihiro saying fine, makes sense 😌(obviously after getting surprised, she might be the only one who can deal with yugami, still she is not some super girl) !!
Maaan the 3last pages duuude! I really thought he found out about his feeling during the last page of chapter 81, but he actually planned this from the beginning
Thanks for all the work. I loved this manga from beginning to end, and yes there was a couple, one of the best. Yugami is a serious boy, and Chihiro is perfect for him, good ending, I am satisfied.
i want to clarify one small thing, because of a comment I saw on 4chan that I lost my chance to reply to. In page 8 the narrator is not affectionately calling Chihiro "Chihi". He was, instead, initially assuming Yugami forgot about her, but is cut short by Yugami reminiscing.
Chihiro was right, Yugami does have a streak of shyness. However, true to form, he bulled past it anyway. I am kind of curious how and when it'll be made clear - explicitly or implicitly - that he's romantically interested in Chihiro.
