TLR didn't had a harem ending because it literaly had no actual conclusion, Darkness is all about building a actual harem but Hasemi and Yabuki are two hacks who would rather milk a stone than giving the series a proper ending, so they went the coward way and "finished" the series with a lame non-ending so they can bring it back when they feel like to milk it yet again

We will only get a harem ending when the séries is truly done and finished (probably never ever lol)

I feel like they definitely do under another name, those character designs feel familiar but I haven't read a manga from this artist (atleast not a memorable one), eg (when he was dreaming, the gal and another girl coming on him felt familiar, the non-gal especially, a reference to some other series perhaps?)
