For one, it's not ideological; I just grew tired of working on the manga and the extremely repetitive, cyclical and boring nature of it certainly didn't help in that regard. Additionally, I needed help with the translation, but never found a dedicated translator who wanted to continue working on the manga.

But, I heard it myself, in their own server, in their scanlating stream that this series was decided to get dropped because of Sciensey themselves felt that the theme of slaving and the dubious consent didn't suit their worldview. Then, why did they pick it up in the first place? That's all.

How did they read that title and not think it would be about dubious consent? I feel like the "Dorei" kinda gives it away

Hopefully another scanlator will pick this up who doesn't find this series boring or annoying. I don't even want these four to pair off, the messy love polygon is so entertaining to me. Perfect setup for a quad if the mangaka knows what they're doing.

I can't imagine it would develop into a 4P, but I do think these four do have the dynamic for it. it would also be fresh to the scene. we've gotten lots of 3P stories (heck, an entire 2 anthologies too), but I can't think of any 4P relationships forming.

Shinoppe I'm sure would appreciate that solution most, considering she's a self-described slut
