Agreed. Riku is a hypocritical little POS, but Yuria was on watch duty and that's all he should be upset about.
However, I think Goro rolling out of bed is just the author stretching too far to create this conflict.
Yuria could've easily set up the other side rail before leaving. Actually, that is what most homes and hospitals do for bedridden patients. The side rail is only taken off when we care for them.
Riku could've just came home earlier and yell at Yuria as she walks in or something.
The situation occurred because she was careless out of excitement.
She left a patient that needed constant attention alone.
But this is a really common caretaking situation because caretakers are lulled into a false sense of security I.e "they've been ok so far, they'll be ok if I take some time for myself" but the fact remains that there was no one taking care of the dependant.
As someone mostly bedbound with a disability, there is nothing I would want more than for my spouse to find happiness and joy with another person since I cannot provide physical satisfaction that anymore.
