As much as Fuyu's behavior annoys me,
thinking about it more, it's actually kind of neat. Instead of your typical dense protagonist, she actively denies reality even once its thrust in her face. Put her in any other romance story, and it just doesn't work. totally dead and doomed from the start.
Then you've got Ririka. Very frank and forthright. Just comes right out and says whatever she feels. Put her in any other romance story and it zooms along.
Now put the two together and you've got something that's admittedly interesting.
