How is it THAT common? What's the contrary? Doesn't seem there is one. "I want you to like me" seems pretty FUCKING definitive.
There are 3 certainties in life: Death, Taxes, and dumbshit fuckwit MCs getting bitchslappped in the face with confessions, getting interrupted trying to connect the dots in their 10000 ping brain, and extending the story for at least 10 more volumes than necessary.
