Except he kinda does, if he's even vaguely serious about being a vtuber. If he cancels a stream last minute and offers no explanation once, what's to stop it from happening again? At that point, who's going to care if he's streaming, since they never know if the stream is actually going to happen?

All he had to do was add to his cancellation notice that it was because he was taking care of his sister, who was sick, and everyone would have been fine with it. Didn't need the full details about their mother, but a general overview would have negated this entire chapter.

They're just lucky with all these mishaps at this point that they haven't doxxed their locations completely at this point, especially since so many people know the brother at school already.

I don't mean the backstory so much so as they've been depicted and described as being close since they were children. So between that and since they live close to each other you'd think that, after the post about the stream cancellation, she'd have asked him about it. Or visited to see if something happened.

Instead she finds out either from watching Arc's stream and is relieved after finding it out by proxy. Know what I mean? It just strikes me as weird.
