It feels like mahiru and doc don't flow as well as mc and she do , vice versa doc and oshiko flow well unlike her and mc . It feels like he just doesn't let talk or express herself fully and kinda cuts her off and assumes a lot based on his observation, even though it maybe true , it feels like it bothers a lot

It doesn't come off as clearly in the translation, but they also speak to each other using keigo (formal Japanese) rather than the casual language you would expect from a couple.
