I will have to disappoint you guys because Zect will have his own redemption arc and becomes a father figure himself in the future.

I was disappointed tha this redemption arc seemed to have started and then he goes off and burn bridges like that, I think it was un-necessary to just insult them all like that, classless.
Like the author took some step back with him.
But seeing the daughter's reaction to the wife was awesome, I feared it wouldn't happen.....also hope the harem doesn't expand, the princess and the other lady I forgot means less time per harem member.

So this part is different from what I remember from the WN. I can be wrong it's been a long time that I read it though.

I don't remember Zecht being an asshole to the girls before leaving. In chapter 25 of the manga, they talk about dissolving their party and what they are going to do and the girls all say that they want to stop being adventurers and Zecht accepts that without calling them trash like here. Then, the girls say that they want to live with Ceres and the mothers and Zecht accepts that. They are not thrown away by Zecht like in this chapter. It's weird to change that when you look at the previous chapter.

Other change, the mothers openly say that they have failed their kids education and that they are going to correct that. Seriously, if you're an S-rank adventurer and you see your kid leaving home to become adventurers as well and kill the Demon Lord but you know that your kids don't know how to wash their cloths or make a soup, then you are sending your kids to their deaths. They never admitted they failed the kids educations in the novels. I hope the training of the girls is handeled better than in the novel where it was just bullying without teaching anything.

Spoiler: End result: Zect and Ceres 8 wives

Eventually, the 3 end up back together with Zect, after he goes through a redemption arc of his own, and learns how to not be a womanizing pos, but they are his concubines and he becomes king of the land Ceres gets for being the hero. The latter after Ceres ascends to heaven with his 7 mortal wives, to become a new god and live with his 8th and final wife, the goddess of creation.

I fucking hate that so much, no redemption arc he goes through would justify him getting such a good ending like becoming a fucking king, betrayers go to the lowest level of hell for a reason
