So far only one of them has seen that their parents are with someone new would be fun to see the reaction of the others especially zect being jealous of his father having an elf wife

From the white word they will receive bridal training and if they can pass that the MC will decide but it's not for certain I'm curious how it will go though. Well, it was disappointing seeing Ceres still being friendly with Zect after he acted like a total asshole, I hope at least we won't see him in the story for a while.
For the girls, they definitely don't deserve to be with Ceres as they are now, it's too convenient to treat him like trash and then wanting to be with him when you're left with no other options. I'm assuming Ceres told them he'll listen to their feeling to motivate them but he believes that after they mature a bit they'll give up on him on their own.

I was disappointed tha this redemption arc seemed to have started and then he goes off and burn bridges like that, I think it was un-necessary to just insult them all like that, classless.

He went off alone to other country. Remembering how Ceres bought his mother, he then tried to buy a slave of his own using his leftover funds from his previous Brave activity. He took pity on an albino little girl slave and bought her off. That world has prejudice against albino people and insult them as cursed. Zect then did his clumsy way of providing the albino girl like an inexperienced father. He did all the cooking and the chores, until he finally realized and respected Ceres thanks to those cooking and chores he did now.

This chapter is such a mess and I love it lol. It most likely won't happen, but I'm all forward for Ceres to have the daughters as his new wives. Plus, they could help him satisfy his Dragon-sex drive. But it mostly won't happen since he prefers older women anyway. Also, Zect got off way too easy. Definitely an ass hole like his dad.

But....I just can't get behind Ceres being this chill, to the point of seeming like a pushover, when it came to Zect's shitty behavior and then Lida's dad (his "big bro").
Like...stand up for yourself or for others. He still put his own endorsement on the dad's shitty restaurant after that display of depravity from him toward Lida?

Ceres just feels like an bump-on-a-log old man who lets his wives show emotion on his behalf. Is there something I'm missing regarding the Dragon Thing wherein if he gets mad he explodes and could take out a city block, or something?

Just....be upset for once, I guess. Like yeah - Zect got slapped around by his mom, but then Ceres is just like "see you later brah! Let's get a drink sometime!" and....nothing.

Anyway whatever I guess, it's not like I was expecting anything profound, but his super easy-going attitude to so much of the interpersonal stuff between the other main cast sorta takes me out of the story, at times.

He absolutely doesn't need to feel hate. But him being an ostensible adult among a group of who he sees as children, while being that passive about it all, doesn't read like indifference to me so much as ineptness.
He's absurdly powerful, should arguably have a position of responsibility over the other four, but he let Zect insult his three party members and then his own wife/Zect's mother, and just ended it with "yeah let's get a drink sometime!"

Like...that's not passivity, that's enabling behavior, almost. And it just doesn't really click for me like Ceres is stepping up into the role of authority that he should have, given his position and relation to the others.

Indifference would have been letting Ceres simply be disowned and walk out and then never having anything to do with him again. That's not how the end of that confrontation reads to me, is all.
