Why train in a dangerous dungeon? He used the arrow trap to save that civilian from dropping rubble. So this means he doesn't need the environment of the dungeon to use his powers. So why not learn how to use his new power in a training facility? Why go up an enemy that could hurt him bad when he doesn't know the effective range of the new arrow trap, the different effects of the fusions of that trap with others, the cooldown, etc.?

The mc is simp too hard to his former party member that even his new party member has no hope (well, 2 of them are loli and shota tough, 1 is a high school girl, the other 2 is this reizen girl and another girl from other world who become his pseudo slave at first and then she thirst for mc too)

The examination fight between mc and former party member also more like your typical sport fight and mc just want to prove himself he finally can fight in the same level, of course he finally win the duel with this valkyrie girl and everybody is happy with the mc keep leading his new party

the later part of story become so ridiculous that mc must ascend to godhood so he can protect his world from otherworld attack through that origin dungeon
and who join the mc as part of his godhood? Its the former party member and the other world girl, which they done it through harem marriage to become mc apostle (all of them become immortal)
well, the loli and shota married each other in the end and got blessed by mc
i forgot reizen married whom, but in the end she lived over 100 years old just so she can accompany mc before mc leave to the god realm or something after 100 years
If true, this sounds amazing, actually.

In that it avoids a lot of things I hate about these kinds of stories.

now this is the reasonable job + cheat upgrade that I like, its understandable how Trap Master be views as weak class to boot up considering its really not active playing role for team and the hard part need to make enemy down for trap and the [arrow symbol] skill is also not grandiose cheat upgrade but a really effective and suitable. (y)
its just the [Fusion] skill that bit bother me because is he can use it past or pre cheat? because its kinda stupid he never tried to combine or dual skill if job like mage and paladin exist :pepehmm:
Presumably he could fuse his traps before, but that still doesn't do much. Combine a fire trap and slash trap: fore slash trap. Neat. Now get the goblin to step on it.

The arrow allows the trap to be turned into an attack, by "launching" the slashes/fire forwards, on top of it also working as a way to manipulate enemies to move where you want them to.

It's insane that the Push isn't like a level 1 ability, and instead it's something that requires divine intervention to unlock, though.

One thing i wish that dont happen is the trope where the former party will get weak because "he got kicked and he always support his co-members but they didnt notice"

meh tbh I dont like his ex party.
even if they did it under the guise of 'protecting' him they were still pretty selfish and even now one of them is deciding they should retire and take him somewhere after finishing up some gate when he is just now starting to get his motivation back.
I mean, it's not like they know that. They haven't seen him since he left the party.
They think they've ruined his life and are hoping to make it up to him by retiring with him after the big dungeon, they have no idea that he's gained power and is gaining confidence in his own skills. It's not like they have the script.

I mean it's still better than the "party leader is just jealous of him" cliche. I absolutely came to hate jealous types because mostly the whole story resolves about them trying to disturb or kill the MC. So a harem is way better
True, this is better than ex-party boss starts to fail without him, gets jealous and MC end up having to kill them.

They obviously haven't read enough mangas in this reality ;)

I still can't get over the premise.

The traps have a ton of offensive potential for anyone with enough brain cells to not just unga bunga their way through everything. Using the arrows to fling enemies into traps, or fling traps at enemies is a fine modifier that greatly expands his utility, but he shouldn't need it in the first place.

Hell, with how strong his original party is, they should have just power-leveled him before (and especially after) the gap got as bad as it did. Have him set traps while everyone else yeets monsters into them. Problem solved.
Except the traps activate no matter who sets them off, so one wrong move and THEY get thrown into them and minced. Traps in this setting are friendly fire, including to the user (or else he wouldn't be able to use the arrows) and seem reasonably powerful. In a party that doesnt rely on ambushes, trap users seem more liability than benefit.

He seemed to be confused when that showed up as an option when he first used them, so I think that's a new feature.

Because the traps need to be set off, and whoever does it will probably get murdered by them?

Trap master.

Does not have femb- I mean pitfall.

Where is pitfall? I want my pitfall! It's the ultimate trap that killed the hero.

Absolutely. I have read some of this stories recently and found it so annoying how it dragged pretty much over everything else in the story

He kinda has no drive like the other MC with this premise. Kinda uninteresting idk. He just got lucky.

Oh, we went full typical isekai fantasy.

First person you saved can be one of multiple people. A slave, elf, loli, human or beastgirl. A princess or nobility of some sort. A merchant. If a merchant or nobility or royalty, open the avenue for immediate sponsorship. If a merchant, one of two options, a skilled but struggling merchant done wrong by another force or who is solely missing something that the MC will provide to make them immensely successful or they were already successful and yet somehow even with the elite guards they hired failed to be protected and now dotes on the MC who will either make it a quid pro quo, a pro bono, or will add the merchant herself, or if the merchant is male, the merchant's daughter into his harem.

And now with this we reinforce that the MC is not a trapper, he's not some Techmo's Deception trap master. He's just a typical magical swordsman who will use a quirky combination of arrows and traps to emulate big magic spells, but ultimately not be a trap master. And instead of buff magic, it's just arrow magic to make him move super duper fast and attack super duper hard.

And of course now we establish the previous party wanted to harem him, so now we open up the route for them to get NTR'd by a new harem, or they will be his harem once he shows how much more alpha powerful he is now that he is a magical swordsman (master trapper allegedly).

I am mildly peeved that we don't get to see actual traps and strategy, and instead just straightforward magic swordsman bull. I knew this was going to be trash junk food, but I at least wanted some variation in the flavor.
i think its really funny that the established trap rule nr1 "traps gottabe activated by an enemy" was broken in chapter 2. this is really stupid
