Well, the glasses hero had reasons to dislike Lloyd, but he has no reasons to be envious of an S-rank party. He is probably the most famous hero in the land, and the only way he could get promoted is if he demonstrated leadership skills and became a Pope.

The white mage in his party has reasons to be offended, but it's not a white mage's job to pick fights.

The chuuni black mage probably doesn't have reasons to attack Lloyd either. In fact, she looks like she might join their party. Well, she might want to take Lloyd's place in the party, but she looks like she can't do sneaky things if her life depended on it.

The scarred adventurer is the one most likely to do something stupid. But that's because we don't know anything about him except that he is stuck up about ranks.

Everybody else that was introduced seem to be in the "protect the princess" group, and so are not in position to be antagonistic.

Still, they are veteran adventurers, not some semi-skilled newbies that pick fights with the MC when he first comes to the guild. They will probably suggest a competition. Such as "who conquers the dungeon first" or something.

Yes, the MC is pretty much raised to think that he is not enough for anything. I know it is right to not overestimate oneself, strive to always become better, and to not underestimate anyone else but I guess the way Merlin taught this concept to the MC was in a way that it resulted in making him see it in a perspective that he is always the one at fault and will always be lacking.
Dunno why Merlin passed on her emo to the MC too much (I bet Merlin blames herself for the death of one of her former party members).

Even the most dense motherfucker would figure out their own power after seeing ONE, SINGLE white mage if they were in his shoes. The fact that he still thinks he's weak really is just a shitty way for the author to create more extremely unfunny situations.
