This is kind of like suddenly meeting your ex again after a long time of separation. Even if you broke up under the best circumstances, reconciled your differences, and moved on, you didn't expect to meet them again in a place that isn't suited for them, and so after remembering your breakup, it's awkward and confusing to how to behave around them if they changed since your last meeting.

Lloyd is just kind of taking Rina's sudden backtalk negatively like the low self-esteemed man that he is, which is your typical tuesday for him. With Rina suddenly becoming an adventurer and has likely heard of Lloyd becoming S-Rank, she probably mistook his reaction to her quickly rising to B-Rank in a condescending kind of way as she has heard most S-Rank adventurers usually act and just responded accordingly (and considering what we've seen so far, you can't really blame her), but that just goes to show how little she really knew Lloyd even back when they were a party together if she thought he would change that much.

I could be wrong at that as it has been a hot minute since we last saw her and her progression since Lloyd's banishment from the hero's party, so I have no idea what she's been up to aside from rising the ranks as an adventurer.
