Enemy-turned-yandere stalker, huh?

Also, I don't really get Yui's dilemma right now. Obviously they'll run into the demons again, they'll have to take them out sooner or later, including the annoying shota. She'll get her chance for revenge then, but she can take out her frustration/malice on the other demons until then. Plus, she was way too young to do anything when her village got destroyed, regardless whether the shota had anything to do with it. Why's she making a big deal out of this now?

Losing your family and village would understandably affect anyone. I’m guessing over time she learned to forget (or at least to not let her mind dwell) in that tragedy.

And to suddenly have someone say “oops, that was my fault” would likely bring back how painful that experience was for her. Regardless if she could or could not do something at the time.

Her understanding of her own backstory just shattered, it went from the world being unfair with natural disasters to some prickthat is currently stronger than her slaughtered everyone she knew. Give her a bit to process that.

It's a shattered worldview, she lived all this time thinking that her village was destroyed by a natural disaster only to find out they were all murdered by someone, this is not easy for anyone to fathom.
Imagine believing your parents who died when you were 14 in a car accident really died because someone cut their break lines?
Yeah your gonna have some issues with that.

Oh boy, a training arc for the strongest heroes. I’m surprised they didn’t enroll in the royal wizard school and have a deathmatch tournament on the second day of classes, and a beach holiday to refresh afterwards.

"Man a landslide wiped out my family and friends, but that's how these things happen and I can come to terms with it."

"Lol I was testing an earthquake bomb lmao even, my bad kthxbye~"

Does that help?

Level 50 Yandere warning. Still better off than that one manga where every girl and then some the main character meets(and then some) goes yandere

Even after reading these replies, though I have a slightly better understanding of it, I admit my sympathy for her situation hasn't grown that much. Not that I don't find her as a likable or interesting character, it's just that I haven't really seen, read, or experience something even close to that happening before, so I fail to empathize and think how and why she'd go about the news like this instead of, I don't know, use it to fuel her ambition to become a better adventurer, get revenge on the demons, and stuff like that. I get receiving such news would take time to process and get your feelings in order, sure, but I don't know, I just think she's going about this that's detrimental to herself and her party.

I'm thinking Fia still has revenge on her mind, but has come to the conclusion that the Lloyd was not at fault. maybe the thoughts shared between them gave her an insight on where the blame truly lies

@branx9 Well, they've got strong rivals. As shown in the silhouettes shown in Chapter 30.2

For anyone that needs the references:
Shino:
Strongest Dark Element Mage. Solo. Chūnibyō. Flamboyant. Last Seen Chapter 27. Mentioned 30.2.
Rina:
Former Hero Party with Lloyd. Tank. Lost her Left Hand during a mission with the Hero, Saint was unable to regenerate it. Last Seen Chapter 9.
Kurumu and Sylvie:
Former Yui Party. White Mage and Sister- A-Rank Adventurer group. Lloyd removed a Cursed Red Crystal from Sylvie (Chapter 11). Last Seen Chapter 30.2.

"YES!"
said girls' levels of sanity/state of mind go from 'temporarily questionable' to 'RUN FOR YOUR LIFE'

Thanks for the new chapter!

I have been wondering what happened to the shield-warrior girl Rina from the earlier chapters. I mean she got her had cut off because of the party's (well, because of the fallen hero's) decision. I thought she just vanished into the plot like a mob character but it looks like she will get more development of some sort.

You had the chance to walk away MC. This is your bed you've shat in, time to lie in it.

It has only been a few days at most, and the only detriment she is bringing at the moment is dropping the parties moral (which can be a huge detriment.) I would be unhappy as a reader if she moped around for too long, but this is still acceptable and she is still participating in adventurer activities to better herself. I expect her to steel her resolve by the end of this test with how she is acting.
