Funny thing is, there is actually another person who wears this kind of costume (one of the Phantasmal King's operatives, codename Gemini I think).

Smart move from Alice but Kaito needs to clear the misunderstanding before any of the 2 get hurt.

It doesn't matter that Alice also saved Kaito, or what circumstances led her to it. She put him in that situation. She can never be trusted again.

He's a fucking moron to forgive her. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a poisoned needle in that hand he was about to shake.

Earth's God is more of a proxy and she scares me. Shiro is mainly indifferent to her creations as she loves all of her creations equally, so she sees intelligent beings on the same level as ants (or well, she loves ants as much as humans) for example, so she doesn't play favorites. Earth's God is absolutely a hardcore yandere towards humans and it's simultaneously hilarious and terrifying. So when she comes back for Kaito she's like a massive bitch and psycho to everyone who isn't a being from Earth.
Bit of a late response but it seems like you've gotten to the point in the novel where Eden's been introduced but she hasn't really been expanded upon. If you're curious about her motivations/backstory
Eden is actually just a terminal for Makina, the real form of Earth's god. Makina used to be Alice's best friend way back in the past who Alice rescued from some sort of facility on the old planet they lived on which was basically a more futuristic version of Earth. They traveled around for 10 years together or something and then Makina went on a trip across the multiverse to become a creator god (like Shiro is). An immeasurable amount of time later, Makina settles down and makes the Earth we live on today.

Skipping past a bunch of stuff, the reason she harbors an insane amount of love for earthlings (and especially Kaito) while regarding everyone else (except Alice) as a bug is that all the time she spent on her journey to become a deity "broke" her emotions so they're all out of whack. However, in one conversation she has with Alice, Makina talks about how when she interacts with Kaito, she can feel her broken emotional gauge being "fixed," but being in her presence makes her so giddy that she launches into those monologues I'm sure you've seen her (Eden) do because of her warped sense of love.

This was what I remember from what I read up to in the WN (chapter 11xx or something) a couple of years ago, so some of it might be off, but the broken emotions thing is 100% accurate.

See, I knew that Eden was a vessel for Makina, but I remember Alice's BFF being a spirit. Speaking of spirits, I'm going to bawl like a baby again when we see Shiro's mother's POV when she can't tell him who she is :(((
