I mean imagine using wooden boats as a wall, it will keep other wooden boats out but iron ships can just ignore them.Whoever made that magical seal for the battlefield should be fired. It didn't do a very good job of keeping people out.
When she pimp-slapped that general Ein-san forgot to say, "Bitch, where's my money?"
Was Alice not supposed to be the Phantasmal King? I mean, subterfuge is their forte so I wouldn't put it past her to use a body double tho

Yes, she is. She can and does create hundreds of thousands of clones of herself which she can remotely control simultaneously. She can also create individual clones with their own minds that function autonomously. She's also much more powerful than Ein, so her acting concerned about fighting a count-class demon is just her lying out of her ass.
I mean, I went back and checked carefully, and as far as I can tell Alice is conveniently off panel (and out of the others' sightlines) every time the Phantasmal King showed up on in-panel. There's maybe, maybe the barest hint of her on the right-hand side of the first panel of page 23, but that's just a little black triangle and could honestly be anything. We already saw how she's insanely fast, so she could very well have just been pulling off some Looney Tunes bullshit.
Sure, but it'd be so much funnier if she did so anyway. That may be the case, but it's also canon from the WN that she clones herself in order to operate in multiple places in parallel, so while she is capable of it, she doesn't really need to pull Looney Tunes bullshit.
