Spoilers, but have some patience because soon enough Kaito will be dating a lot of them.
A couple of problems must be solved before Kaito decide to confess to Kuro, and a couple of girls while at it.

I don't remember when it happens in the LN, but in the WN Kaito confess to Kuro at chapter 171, and currently the manga is right around chapter 121 of WN.

The main story finishes like 500- 700ish, can't remember exactly. rest of the chapters are just side story or continue after the "main arc" that you would just read daily (like 5 min worth of read lol). That's why it is already over 1.4k chapters
