I don't remember when it happens in the LN, but in the WN Kaito confess to Kuro at chapter 171, and currently the manga is right around chapter 121 of WN.

It's been a while, but IIRC Kuro doesn't actually understand what love is, so doesn't actually realize she's actually in love with him? I think her and the bigshot goddess lady had a discussion about that right after he got the blessing. It's been a while since that part though, so I might be wrong.

Ah, there's actually some conflicts that need to be solved first, mainly on Kuro's side, but as the author keep saying at the end of every volume, don't expect anything too serious in this title. It's just a huge fluffy slice of life, and yet the manga adaptation make it feels like there'll be serious development all the time lol.

Not really. You actually described Shiro.

In short:
In Kuro's case, the main issue is not having anyone standing by her side as equal, since everyone that interacts with her treat her as a unreachable being that should be feared and revered.

And in Kaito's case it's about the decision of staying in Trinia instead of going back to Earth.

I'm not a fan of how the manga adaptation is making the story feel like something truly serious is going to happen. Aside from the main plot points that had serious stuff going on, there's no politics or other themes commonly found in other fantasy titles.

It's all about fluff.

Ah yes, I don't like harems too, and I read a lot of trash, but YuuShou, together with Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo and Yonaka no Reiji ni Harem wo!! (which I like a lot too), at least try to give a plausibe reason for it. Hell, Kanojo even discuss it in a very deep way, adressing the fact that if a female harem is acceptable, a male one should be too.

About Yuushou, somewhat heavy spoilers: in a very short description, Trinia is already a world where the female to male ration is something like 70/30%, so poligamy was already accepted as norm due to how long lived the demon race is.

But then after a war broke out between the god realm and demon realm (due to a not so serious reason), Shiro, which is the creator of the world, had a vision about a possible future that she would have with Kaito in that world, but since the human race /didn't exist on Trinia, she created them with the help from the god of Earth (but under the 70/30% ratio), and made a lot of adjustments so it would be guaranteed that Kaito would be summoned into that world, fullfiling the vision she had, like creating the situation where it was necessary to summon a being from another world to help against the demon lord crysis, which created the festival of heroes event, which would eventually summon Kaito through a faulty summon circle.

There's a LOT of specific details in-between, but that's the gist of it. I'm not sure how much material from the WN will be adapted to the LN (since it has a staggering amount of content and it's currently at chapter 1430 with daily releases from the author, and the main story ended at chapter 7XX), and then to the manga, so I'm sure a lot of details will be lost in the transition.
