Yeah, after this chapter I've come to conclude that Alice is the Phantasmal King, when they both talked about the Icarus tales. Firstly Alice talking about the myth on its own, and now the Phantasmal King saying about wings that won't burn even if near the sun. I mean it was kinda of obvious since Alice first appearence, but this just confirms it.

The author just tried throwing a false lead, but "Alice" is a fake identity that while being the King is also a "subordinate" of the King. I'm 98% sure I'm right

A react brought me back to check the comments and I'm glad to see that even new readers are accepting that Alice and Isis are best girls. Definitely better than Kuro and Shiro (though Shiro is still leagues better than Kuro.)

I watched that movie so many times that I simply hear that gif. Its funny how both films with Reno where he is kinda a badass introduced me to my first movie star crushes. Natalie in the movie gif is from was my first non-Asian crush (I was similar age to her character back then so no PDF-stuff here). Then in the Wasabi I go my first Asian crush which coincidently was around when I got introduced to anime/manga world and got my yellow fever

IIRC from some fansite that I gone to to spoiler myself about who will end up with MC, to find out that nearly everything that talks in this story and has a v-jay-jay ends up either being MC wife or lover - that site basically explained that Shiro and Kuro are kinda two sides of the same coin. Thou you can still compare them to themselves cause for all purpose they do work as separate entities thus far.

As for Alice and Isis being best girls. Alice is meh in my eyes - kinda comedic relief like Kuro with her castelas. Isis has a bit to big tits for my petanko enjoyment but that doesn't stop her from being the best girl. Thou 2nd place is every long-hair small rack girl for me ;P so like long hair Sieg, that War God spear girl that joined not so long ago, and probably few more lol.
