Well the demon king's daughter is supposed to be one of the family members since they showed her in the introduction, so this should somehow lead to her becoming part of the family too, in that way it's still family oriented

I dunno, that seemed pretty father/daughter to me, other than the perspective joke at the beginning, which I think was entirely playing on Eve's statement on the previous page how her husband would never betray her so the readers could go "oh yeah?" and then "oh." heh.

At the end she is reminiscing about how her father was with her when she was younger, and realizing how much Lloyd is like her father. That feels to me like she's starting to think of him as a surrogate father now, not as a love interest.

Going by how scummy the human royalty is, the Demon King probably had to act in self defense from human initiated hostility.

He likely had good intentions, but his henchmen seem to not have the same mentality about the war, and wished to escalate the war.

makes sense to go at a semi-fast pace to get the full roster so the actual story can start since this is kinda still the intro
