Turns into shit after midway, I guess that's the fate that befalls most of isekai. Interesting concept and cool intro, but turns into a generic Manga number #64482 after all of the interesting concepts runs out
It's like if Helck was bad. Bad art, confusing fight scenes, bland and unlikable characters. It's not isekai, but generic
Japanese
protagonist applies his sensibilities to the Demon King's army, some of which are waifus.
(The first page literally shows the "black-haired"(?) protagonist in Tokyo, but the fact that this is future Japan is treated as a reveal?)
(Why is he colored with grey/silver hair if the speech bubbles describe it as absorbing all light?)
The unlikable main character shows up to do everyone's jobs better than they can with simple logic, leaving you scratching your head as to how the Demon army existed in the first place with such incompetent leadership. It's cartoonish comedy, and that might work if this story was all comedy, but it tries to glue it to existential angst and humanity's penchant for discrimination and hate. There's no smooth transitions or small hints at what's to come, it's rapid swings between comedy and "things that are supposed to be sad" but the sad things aren't allowed to be sad because the hero keeps popping in to mention how awesome he is or to make a funny face! You start page one with the ruins of future Tokyo and an emo kid in the rain, then a few pages later the hero is complaining that this loli wants to make babies with him because of the rules of "her tribe"! Uh oh!
For FUCK'S SAKE, just read Helck, it's like this if it didn't have its head up its own ass. It has actual characters and competent art and you're never confused during the fight scenes because the artist for Helck understood that motion can only be conveyed when you draw a damn background, or show them moving towards or away from something, not just floating in a LITERAL SNOWFIELD, Hueco Mundo style, while vague CGI magic effects menace the protagonists!
started with interesting plot, twist in the middle, and story goes on with boring cliche. I didn't recommend it but if you dont have anything to read then its fine. Better look for other manga with good story
4/10 for me
That's it? Why?! Why is this it? One deeznutzillion of shitty isekai runs for ages, and this actually good story gets 3 LNs and 8 manga volumes? Fuck that noise!
The story is fine but i wish they invested more in the romance part
A 7/10 for me, just dont expect too much from the story, your reading experience will be a lot better
