I guess the open ending was the best course of action. Personally the author should release 4 what if chapters. That way every fan of each of the girls have the ending they like. Like another harem series I really liked did.

Personally I want a momoka ending and a oyakodon ending. Do it author please do it.

The correct ending anyway is harem ending but given sensei's personality it wouldn't make sense. Tho you could frame it under the guise of helping his students grow by keep a closer personal eye on them.
