hopefully this means that next time seven seas won't try to turn another series' femboy into a trans, but would just pick up this series instead. there would be far less backlash involved, to be sure.
but seriously though, i think this is the first time I've seen a proper (probably) trans character in a series (and according to my manga trackers, my series count is in the low thousands at this point

) - certainly a rarity, but if l'm honest it pretty much corresponds to the proportion of openly-trans people I've met irl thus far.
