What a hero Dr. Riddles was. I can't believe he sacrificed himself to save Blue. I thought he would have figured a way out to save her without the sacrifice. Was that new power of Gash's from the Thunder Egg he talked about with Ashuron a couple of chapters ago? It looked like it was forming onto Baou.

I kinda want to see more characters like Dr Riddles, a kind grandparent not detached from reality. He saw another grandkid in Bleu, saw how she was pressured into that situation, and maintained his demeanor towards her even as he was dying, and even finished the deed on his own terms so as to alleviate any pressure from her life.
