Ted! Though I think he died in the begining? He was one of the caretakers of the orphans that escaped right at the beginning, I think.

Thanks for the reminder and yeah... I even remember the panel where they said he got killed... but they said Brago got killed too, but they couldn't keep that UNIT out of the game for long.
And you know... I would love to see Cherish too, we didn't get much of her personality, but what we saw showed that there was a reason why Ted fell in love with that girl, she was a WOMAN.
Bet she went down swing with him, even today her abilities had one of my favorite designs, I just loved how she materialized crystals into projectiles and weapons.
I think my favorites were her, Brago (I love gravity magic), Zeon (for how cool not just he used his magic but the design of the manifestations), and... funny enough... Clear Note XD.
I would have loved to see a wood magic mamodo on the level of the late participants, but I think there was only two of them in the past series... one was defeated by Gash and the other was defeated by Brago, the one Brago defeated was quite strong, but it was still at the early stages of the contest, they weren't using the truly ridiculous abilities yet.
