Akei's personality doesn't make life all sunshine for him, though. He already noted clients blow up at him. When he makes a repeated mistake but acts all cheerful despite of it, it will tick off lots of people, as they will interpret it as Akei possessing no regret despite the mistakes. That's certainly not guaranteed to be good for his career progress either in Japan. On the other hand, if he can keep being like that, it's much better for his mental health than being gloomy (and lonely).
