You don't know how many gender bend mangas I read, that for some unknown reason choose to be a girl near the end and it ends up being yuri.

Technically, since it's not different changes like one male, one female, probably not?
Though I wouldn't know, I just see it as both gay marriage and the other as straight marriage.

I can understand that.

Though, while there certainly is a difference between straight, gay, and lesbian, I've always seen them all as just normal.

Certainly, they're normal. I agree with that. I just have a bias between endings in mangas, usually, I am the one to incline toward straight ones more or less than yuri (or yaoi, I've seen a few.) most of the time.

Though in particular with this one, we are already shown that another character is in a yuri marriage date so it's not out of the picture. I just do not want the see the same ending as most marriage gender bends end.
(Tho, I wouldn't mind seeing a yuri ending, I just hope they never do the deed so they can switch genders forever. lol)

Oh, that makes sense. I'm not very familiar with genderbender so I haven't been bogged down by common tropes really.

I do think it is heading in a straight direction. The main character seems too against being a woman to have it end like that, unless Nagi ends a man I guess.

That's understandable, some people aren't that familiar with it and that's fine. I don't mind their points or anything or how they see stuff, some of it is interesting though.

I do agree though that the main character does seem to be against being a woman/girl, and does seem more toward a straight direction. Though I would be surprised if he ends up as a girl imo lol

Is that really a common thing? I mean, I’ve tried looking for GB yuri before (which is how I found this series) but on here there’s not many and most of them are garbage, so I’m kinda curious about which manga you’re referring to

I mean, there is some "Yuri" manga I read on here (not much yuri tbh) before, and I could've sworn it was much easier back then, though that might've just been me. I personally read a lot of Pixiv manga and bought some digitality, so I could be mixing them up with some on Mangadex.

Respect to Ichika for not like wrecking Kai and respecting their identity. Ryou and Nagisa are so sweet! I love them together so much, the hug he gave her made me give out an involuntary squeal. In the end theyre probably gonna stay both genders somehow or find some middle ground rather than give them a defined sex. I feel this has all come to the conclusion that they love them for who they are regardless of gender. Its a fitting conclusion for Nagisa who didn't think they could find a lover without a sex to find someone who loves them for who they are both as a man and a woman.

I hope the author doesn't try to forge either of them into the binary of "I am a man" or "I am a woman" at the end of this. I just feel like that really wouldn't fit the series and would ruin a really unique part of their characters. It would make for a shit ending too.
