There was one manga where the guy became a girl, and the love interest could switch between both sexes, then the MC got to switch between both too, and they decided to determine who was going to be the woman first based on who got pregnant first.
I love these 2 so much together. I love how Ryou is willing to go to such lengths to let Nagisa live how they want to. In the same way I like how Nagisa is willing to give up their TSS to be with Ryou even if it is almost assuredly a bad call since they're probably gonna change the god rules and let them live happy ever after with TSS. Though admittedly Nagisa's final line there got my heart going thinking about BF and stuff.
the first half is pretty good, then it makes a major tone shift in the last 3rd or so, where even after reading it a few times over, I am still not fully sure I understand what is happening. It feels like it was cut short of its full story and the author decided to wrap it up instead of just letting it get axed midway through.
To be fair that's in line with how gods actually are for the most part, even when they're not full-on assholes, like Greek or Nordic gods, they're still inevitably assholes even if "benevolent", since they won't follow or care about human logic, much less humans feelings.
Seriously, if there's any constant with most mythologies around the world, is that even benevolent supernatural entities are inevitably assholes one way or another, due to not following human morality and such.
I do agree on that, but my issue is that the story didn't seem to have the supernatural, nor it be a main part, to begin with. so it being a larger part than the introductory psychological drama can feel forced.
well, not that it matters now that it's ending lol
Nagisa never wished to become a girl, they never had issues with TSS, now they want to become a girl because they believe they have no choice but to choose a gender, so they think Ryou will be happier like that.

That's a fair point, supernatural element only became explicit halfway, but to be fair, the easy sex change at any point only really makes sense with magic involved, or nanomachines I guess lol
I kinda dislike how this is leaning more into the supernatural, probably cause it's reminding me of another manga
Kimi ga Shinu Made Ato 100 Nichi
where the story kinda went downhill because of the god's "whim".
like, imagine nagisa/ryou going on each shrine trying to find that god, but each god they met are assholes giving them side quests, or mini games to test him cause they're bored lol.
edit: wait WHAT?!?! it's ending in chapter 40?!?! too soon man
if it's not a satisfying one, I at least hope it's an ending where both are happy
