You know, I was suprised by the title. It's kind of spoilery for the chapter when you think about it. Because it's like saying the secret's now out in the open.

Yeah, it kind of is. Though I'd say that the entire first page is a giant spoiler for the chapter, lol. Speaking of light, I actually really like how the author metaphorically uses lighting. Especially in this scene, you can clearly see how Naoi is almost completely in darkness (i.e., corrupted, "in hell"), while Kurumi is just starting to get absorbed by it.

Naoi might have money saved up from her part-time job. But she might have to sneak back into her apartment to get it.

As for being questioned, summer break just started, so minors being out in broad daylight or taking long trips likely isn't going to draw too much attention if they're really running away for the summer.

Not for the faint of heart for sure. Tbh, now the story might actually progress. After so long taking shit from so many im curious how things are gonna play out next in school. Her mother worries me mostly because shes already carved some trauma in Kurumi, but shes also needs to be dealt with sooner or later. In a way, i dont feel like Naoi really have Kurumi back which is what Kurumi needs right now more than just a escape goat.
Really hope this dont only go down hill from here when Naoi only wants to see the world burn while Kurumi is trying to find her solace in her. But i did loved their lil interaction at the end. Given the circumstances is soothing to see Kurumi being herself openly.
