i forgot but that should be explained last chapter when the bro act separate from the priestess and made report in night, basically error judgment from survey team, the survey team labeled the dungeon as safe and already conquered but they miss the teleportation trap that make anyone step on it face that grim reaper, the guild just accept as it's and didn't send any other survey, as for what quest Wolca and his team take just some normal quest to get some material if i not wrong but yeah that trap sprung on them

I get that dude was frustrated and very emotional with the feeling of hopelessness of the idea of not being able to use his swordsmanship again ... but man crying right there was one of the worst things he could have done for the girls around him. They probably would have preferred it if he lashed out in anger at them instead, but crying like that will only make their guilt go even deeper.
