Not gonna lie, I don't really like Suzu. Even if she used to be a cat, what she is doing now is just creepy. If the genders were reversed no one would ship them.

I also don't understand why so many mangas are about the relationship between a student and a teacher? That is also like super creepy. I mean, even if the student is 18, the teacher has to be at least 24 (if he isn't in training anymore).

Hikari is right, so far it was very little to see if Suzu acts of her "lover x lover" relationship, she hardly has a grasp about human behaviour and hardly knows how much in the gray area they are, with repercussions for it.
Hikari's mom too treats it as innocent affection, not romantic.

That was too harsh to do though, especially if Hikari knows how undeveloped Suzu is.
