Edit: I'm pretty sure the "smug white haired bastard" he mentioned was his master. So that's not why they fought. More likely they were both strong and met each other, I don't think a lot of conflict in his past had a good reason.

But he didn't know Vincez was dead. "If anyone was still around I thought it would be that smug white-haired bastard." He must not have been involved with them outside of that fight with Shizuki

Yelkh is in the dark on him being back as well, so I don't think he's going to be much of an antagonist.
